Privacy Policy

Effective 23 August 2026

No personal data collection

ShuffleCook does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

All 100 recipes and their images are included in the installed application. Selected shopping-list recipes and collected-item state are stored only in the app's private storage on the user's device and are excluded from device backups.

ShuffleCook has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking, third-party software development kits, in-app purchases, network client, or backend service.

Deleting the app

Deleting ShuffleCook removes its locally stored shopping-list data. Apple may independently process App Store downloads, purchases, diagnostics, or other information under Apple's privacy policy.

External links and support

Only when a user chooses a privacy-policy or support link does ShuffleCook hand that link to the device's browser to open GitHub. GitHub may process browser and account information under GitHub's Privacy Statement.

Support requests submitted through GitHub Issues are public and may be viewed by the developer and other visitors. Do not include personal or sensitive information.

Privacy questions can be submitted through the ShuffleCook support page.

Recipe Roulette browser companion

The sections above describe the installed iPhone and iPad application. Recipe Roulette is a separate web companion with 12 original recipes. It stores pantry selections, favourites, selected shopping recipes and checked ingredients in this browser's local storage. That data is not sent to the developer, and there is no account or cloud sync.

Use Reset saved data in Recipe Roulette to clear these saved selections, or clear this site's browser data. Private browsing or blocked storage may prevent saving. The web companion is hosted by GitHub Pages; GitHub may process hosting requests under its Privacy Statement linked above. It needs a connection to load; it does not promise offline availability.
